Letter invitation

An invitation letter is exactly what it seems: a formal request written by any U.S. Citizen (or legal resident) inviting a foreign relative to come to the United States on a temporary basis. The letter must state that they are willing to host the visitor in their home and financially support them.
Although these letters are not mandatory, they can definitely help to smooth the visa initiation process.

The document must contain three parts:
• Pertinent sponsor information (what the sponsor does, where the sponsor lives, etc.)
• Nonimmigrant information (who is the person, country of residence, etc.)
• All the details (date, duration of travel, purpose, etc.)
